Please read these Terms of Use (“Agreement”) carefully before using any App4Joy application (“App” or “Apps”), including A+ World Map Editor and A+ Flag Maker.

By accessing, playing, or using an App, you confirm that you have read and reviewed this Agreement and agree to comply with its terms. Acceptance of these terms is required to use or play the Apps. If you do not agree with this Agreement, you should not use the Apps and should uninstall them.

Purpose of the Apps

App4Joy's flag and map applications are creative, educational, and entertainment tools intended to help users explore flags of nations, territories and states, create their own flag designs, and simulate or edit fictional, historical, or alternative world maps.

Game simulation and geopolitical disclaimer

The Apps are for creative use, entertainment, and game simulation. They are not official or authoritative sources of geographical, political, or historical information. Country names, flags, borders, territories, sovereignty claims, disputed regions, puppet states, annexations, conflicts, and other scenarios shown or created in the Apps may be fictional, user-generated, simplified, hypothetical, or based on historical interpretations.

Displaying, creating, or sharing a map, flag, border, territorial claim, or geopolitical scenario in an App does not imply App4Joy's endorsement of any government, political ideology, sovereignty claim, territorial position, conflict, or interpretation of international borders.

Users are responsible for the maps, flags, simulations, content, and scenarios that they create, edit, publish, or share. App4Joy does not endorse, verify, or accept responsibility for user-generated geopolitical positions or territorial disputes arising from such content, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Usage not allowed

Users must not use the Apps or content created with them to:

1. Promote, encourage, or glorify violence.
2. Discriminate against people on the basis of race, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics, or promote cruelty toward animals.
3. Promote terrorism, celebrate terrorist attacks, or support terrorist organizations or activities.
4. Exploit, trivialize, or show unreasonable insensitivity toward natural disasters, conflicts, deaths, or other tragic events.
5. Harass, threaten, or bully other people.

User responsibility

You are responsible for your use of the Apps and for complying with applicable laws and any rules of the platforms on which you publish or share your creations. You must not represent user-created simulations or maps as official geopolitical statements from App4Joy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, App4Joy is not liable for damages arising from your misuse of the Apps, or from disputes or disagreements based on user-created simulation content. Nothing in this Agreement limits statutory rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

App4Joy reserves the right to edit, modify, or update this Agreement at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page. You should review this page periodically; if you do not agree to updated terms, you must stop using the Apps.
